NEWS FLASH!!
As you've probably noticed, this site has been pretty quiet lately. I've had a few emails from customers wondering what's up. Well, I have up-rooted my home and studio and moved further out west! Yes, buckaroos, I have wandered yonder, out here in the wild west of Arizona! Yes folks, I've pictured myself, like Georgia O'keefe, wandering around the desert, picking up cow skulls....and lugging them home to paint portraits of how the desert light falls on the texture and curves of the bone.....NOT!! Nothing personal Georgia, but I'm gonna get me a welding torch....a big kiln....a big saw table...so I can make bigger, better, badder, cooler stuff! Stuff made out of metal, clay, glass, wood, stone, whatever...cos, we've bought an acre and a half, which means a bigger house, and most importantly, bigger studio, woo-hoo! Oh, I may paint something on a cow skull......10/14/09--Okay, don't have my work shop built yet, so my kilns and saw tables are still in storage; but in my studio?.. the paint is finally 'a flyin'! Working on one painting and one textile piece right now. And I finally finished 'Janis', which I started two years ago, before we moved here. I unpacked her, and hung her on a wall for months. I finally got into the groove I was in when I started her, to finish the piece, what a relief. I'm still trying to figure out a good frame for it, and I will post a better picture of it at a later date....
